What we hold about you, and why. The short version: an email address, if you gave us one.

The short version

We hold one piece of personal data: an email address, if you gave us one, with the interest you chose. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies on this site. We have nothing to sell about you and no interest in acquiring it.

What we collect, and why

DataWhyKept

The interest you chose, and the page you registered fromSo the email we send is about the part of the product you asked about. With the address.

Server logsStandard request logs at our host, to keep the service up and stop abuse. They include IP addresses.Short-term, by the host.

We do not use analytics or advertising services, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share your address with anyone. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis for holding your address is your consent, given when you submit the form.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. Your choice of light or dark theme, and in the app a few settings such as races you have hidden, are kept in your own browser. That never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Other companies involved

Cloudflare hosts this site and keeps the early-access list in its EU data centres, which UK data protection law recognises as giving the same protection as the UK. Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this site uses, so your browser requests those files from Google and Google sees the request. We pass them nothing about you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it or stop using it. For the early-access list, deleting means the row is removed; there is nothing else attached. Email privacy@trapmetrics.com and we will act within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

If you would rather we did not contact you

Reply “stop” to any email, or write to privacy@trapmetrics.com, and we will remove your address and not contact you again. No questions, and no keeping it in case you change your mind.
