What this service is
TrapMetrics publishes statistical ratings and win probabilities for UK and Irish greyhound racing, together with an honest record of how accurate those numbers have been.
What it is not
This is not betting advice and it is not a tipping service. We do not tell you what to bet, how much to stake, or that you will profit. A rating is a measurement, like a weather forecast; what you do with it is your decision and your responsibility.
No guarantee of accuracy or outcome
The ratings come from a statistical model, and models are wrong regularly by design: a runner we rate at 30% loses roughly seven times in ten. Published accuracy figures describe past races and promise nothing about future ones. Source data can be late, missing or wrong, and races are abandoned. We make no representation that using this service will be profitable, and we do not claim to beat the betting market.
Subscriptions and the founding price
Accounts are not open yet, and no payment is taken on this site. Research access is £29.99 a month. Anyone who registers interest before accounts open will be offered Research at £19.99 a month for as long as that subscription continues without a break. Prices and plan contents are on the pricing page and may change for new subscribers; we will give existing subscribers notice of any change.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for betting losses, lost profits or any decision taken on the basis of information on this site. If you rely on these numbers, you do so at your own risk. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Acceptable use
Personal use is welcome. Automated bulk scraping is not. Do not redistribute or resell the ratings as your own product; if you want a data feed, the Data API is the way to get one. You must be 18 or over.
Changes and law
The service is under active development, and features, figures and prices may change. Material changes to these terms will be dated at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
